Welcome to our apartments!
Tromostovje
The Tromostovje – the three bridges, is the work of the exceptional Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik. It is an architectural masterpiece, which connects people on the two sides of the River Ljubljanica, the old town and the new, the past and the present.
The middle stone bridge of Tromostovje, originating from the 19th century, stands at the site of a former timber bridge,
which was strategically important in medieval times, as it connected the lands of north-western Europe with the
Balkans or south-eastern Europe. The architect added two footbridges to the middle bridge in order to link Prešeren
Square with the old town quarter in the form of somewhat extended sidewalks.
Like Plečnik, we too are leaving a new mark on Ljubljana. Renowned Slovenian artists have united old and modern elements in these unique and playful rooms.
